I discussed my AR integration idea with my classmates today and whilst they thought it was a cool idea my teacher pointed out that as a parent she'd really not want to sit with her kids with her phone reading a book just to see any AR animation that might happen. I agree though I might still create something like that at a later stage just for the fun of it! Another idea is it could be an ebook and have that animation...which again is cool, but my secondary research shows kids respond better to books that they can touch.
This week I completed a test spread for my pilot project and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.
